Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2019060A2] The device (1) has bearer drums (2, 3) forming a winding bed to accommodate winding rolls. A unit for axial displacement is provided for axially displacing axes of the drums during a winding procedure. The axis of the drum (3) in fiber web rolling direction is arranged in a vertical direction during operation. A winding loop (13) between the winding and the drum (3) is arranged in a plane or below a winding loop (12). The axis of the drum (3) is lowerable relative to the drum (2) by the unit for axial displacement. A pressure roll (8) is arranged at an outer periphery (11) of a winding (5). An independent claim is also included for a method for winding fiber web in a winding direction.
