[origin: WO2007134802A2] The invention relates to a vacuum cylinder for a labeling apparatus, comprising a bottom support and a plurality of spaced-apart supporting elements whose longitudinal directions extend essentially perpendicular to the plane of the bottom support. The bottom support is provided with a hole for accommodating a shaft in a rotationally fixed manner while each supporting element is removably connected to the bottom support by means of a first final section. The bottom support is also provided with a plurality of recesses which are disposed between the accommodating hole and the supporting elements in the radial direction of the bottom support.
