[origin: WO2007129352A1] The present invention relates to a system used to fix the semi-shells (1,2) of plastic tanks (v) f or washers, washer/dryer combos and similar appliances, of the type made of plastic, preferably polypropylene, and formed of two matchable semi-shells, whose openings are surrounded by outward protruding flanges (10, 20) that favour the stable coupling of the semi-shells, characterised by the fact that the flanges of the semi-shells are firmly joined by means of an intermediate adhesive layer (3) applied following to the physical-chemical activation of the internal surfaces (10a, 20a).
