[origin: WO2007135063A1] The invention relates to an irradiation apparatus (2) for irradiating objects (4) in an irradiation chamber (8) with UV light. Said irradiation apparatus (2) comprises a lamp housing (12) that is provided with a light aperture (22), an elongate UV lamp (14) located in the lamp housing (12), and a primary reflector (16) which is also located in the lamp housing (12) and reflects UV light emitted in the direction of the primary reflector (16) through the light aperture (22) into the irradiation chamber (8) when objects are irradiated. In order to better utilize the light especially when three-dimensional objects (4) are irradiated, at least one adjustable secondary reflector (20, 20a 20b) is disposed outside the lamp housing (12). Said secondary reflector 20, 20a, 20b) partially surrounds the irradiation chamber (8) while the orientation thereof relative to the objects (4) can be modified with the aid of positioning means (44).
