Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2007131964A1] An arrangement with a piezo actuator (6) is disclosed, made up of a piezo element (5) with a multilayer construction of piezo layers. The piezoactuator (6) is surrounded by a chamber (14) at least surrounding the piezo layers filled with a fluid insulation medium, sealed from a fluid medium in an outer chamber (13) by means of a sleeve (15; 20) which can change shape. The sleeve (15; 20) has an elastic embodiment within given limits at least in part of the longitudinal direction thereof, seals with seal elements 816, 17) being provided at the axial ends of the sleeve (15; 20) in the region of an actuator base (7) and an actuator head (8), which, corresponding to the elasticity of the sleeve (15; 20) bring about a volume equalisation in the chamber (14) with the insulation medium by a shape and/or positional change.
