Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2020195A2] The panel has a pair of foldable connected plates (2, 4) made of timber material and a pair of adjacent side surfaces (6, 8) comprising a set of glue fibers (14) connected partial-laminarly with the side surfaces. The glue fibers are arranged continuously and are connected to a fabric. The glue fibers comprise a set of filaments that is coated by an adhesive. The adhesive is a hot melt based on polyamide or hardenable polyurethane. The filaments are interwoven and are arranged parallel to each other. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method for manufacturing a foldable panel (2) a device for applying glue fibers on side edges of timber material-plate parts.
