Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2020288A2] The press has an eccentric shaft (1) rotatable around an axis for driving a press bar (2). The press bar supports the shaft in a machine frame (5) by front and rear bearings (3, 4) e.g. pendulum roller bearing. The bearings have a preset distance to each other. The machine frame has an adjusting unit (6) that adjusts height of the rear bearing parallel towards a moving direction of the press bar. The adjusting unit is operated by a servo drive (10).
