Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2020582A2] Fold height and sheet thickness determine the tube width (b). Any departures of the bridging section dimensions, caused by tolerance and deformation, are accommodated by the fold height. A fold is formed from the first flat side (1a). Two folds are located adjacently and form a U-shaped gap between themselves. Bridging sections are bent from the second flat side (1b). At least one bridging section has double-layered construction and is turned over. One bridging section optionally has a fold (90[deg] ) at its terminal edge.
