[origin: WO2007131370A1] A mobile bed substructure comprises two longitudinal members (1) and transverse slats (2) running therebetween. The transverse slats (2) are divided transversely to the longitudinal direction and are guided in a box-profile portion (3). The longitudinal members are covered by a strap (20), which has a number of rows (24 to 26) of buttonhole-like slots (27). Correspondingly, one part (29) of the strap can run over the transverse-slat parts (2' and 2'') and another part (29') of the strap (20) runs beneath the transverse-slat parts, the free ends of the transverse-slat parts being accommodated in something akin to pockets (31) in the strap. This special configuration means that the mobile bed substructures can easily be assembled by the customer, and the assembled mobile substructure can be adapted to any form of bed.
