Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2007138175A1] The invention concerns a personal standing aid device. The device in this invention is characterized by the items included, in combination as follows: a vertical mobile pole (1) provided with suitable means to move it vertically; b) an articulated pick-up arm (3) provided, at one extremity, with an articulation (31), connected to said pole at a specific point and, at the other extremity, to a strap used as a means of coupling (32) and designed to accommodate the person being assisted in standing; c) a flexible link (5), non-extendible, extending via an angular solid return means (11) of the mobile pole (1), and connected, at one extremity, to the extremity of the articulated pick-up arm (3) and, at the other extremity, to a fixed point (21) on the chassis (2); which cooperates to allow the free extremity of the pick-up arm (3) to follow simultaneously, during the elevation (M1) of the mobile pole (1), a movement (TR) resulting from the movement of the vertical transfer of said pole (1) and from the rotational movement of said pick-up arm (3) around its articulation (31) due to the traction effect of said flexible link (5).
