[origin: WO2007137910A1] An air filter housing (10) for at least one compact air filter element (20) has at least one filter chamber (1) which has in each case at least one hose connection piece (2, 3) at the ends. The compact air filter element (20) can be inserted between the hose connection pieces (2, 3) while sealing the cross section of the filter chamber. Attached to the air filter housing (10) is at least one resonator chamber element (5, 6) which is connected to the filter chamber (1) by at least one air-conducting passage (7, 8, 9) or slot.
