Abstract (en)
[origin: WO2007138004A1] The invention relates to a transmission comprising at least one plate-type shifting element (77), the plates (75, 79) of which can be displaced axially between an axial adjustment device (87) and a supporting disc (110) and can be brought into frictional contact by a displacement, said axial adjustment device (87) having a pivoting wheel (89) that takes up the rotational motion of a drive shaft of a motor and a ball ramp disc (91) that translates the rotational motion of the pivoting wheel (89) into axial motion and that is non-rotatably mounted and axially displaceable in a housing. According to the invention, the surface (112) of the ball ramp disc (91) that faces the plates (75, 79) is covered with a friction lining that co-operates with the plates (75, 79). Alternatively or in addition, the surface (114) of the supporting disc (110) that faces the plates (75, 79) can be covered with a friction lining that co-operates with the plates (75, 79).
