[origin: WO2007134934A1] The invention relates to a transmission comprising a device for detecting rotational speed. Said device comprises a rotational speed transmitter (21) which is rotationally fixed to a transmission shaft, and a stationary rotational speed sensor by which means the rotational speed of the transmission shaft (3) can be detected from the rotational speed transmitter (21). The rotational speed transmitter (21) extends radially outwards into at least one guide (33, 35) which reduces the axial play of the rotational speed transmitter (21). The inventive transmission ensures an especially reliable determination of the rotational speed of the transmission shaft (3).
