Abstract (en)
[origin: FR2901602A1] The system has markers placed near special points of a traffic network and each with an emitter transmitting a single identifier of the marker from a memory to a mobile phone (2). The phone has an application to store a destination and calculate an information message from the identifier, another identifier received before the former identifier, the destination and a database stored in a local memory. The database comprises different information parameters for bifurcations associated to one of the points, where one of the parameters is selected by the application based on the destination. The markers are of Bluetooth electronic chips and operate via batteries. The application is developed under Symbian operating system(RTM: Open standard operating system for data enabled mobile phones).
