Abstract (en)
[origin: FR2901620A1] The card (1) has a tag (2) constituted of a plastic/paper film for covering an antenna and a chip. A plastic material layer (3) has zones (3-1, 3-2) covering a side (2a) and peripheral sections (2c) of the tag, respectively, where a thickness (e2) of the zone (3-2) is equal to sum of thickness (e1) of the zone (3-1) and thickness (e) of the tag. The zone (3-2) covers a perforation of the tag. Another plastic material layer (4) presents thickness (e3), and covers a side (2b) of the tag and the zone (3-2) of the layer (3). The thicknesses (e2, e3) are less than 0.5 millimeters. An independent claim is also included for a method for fabricating a contact less chip card.
