Abstract (en)

[origin: EP2023667A2] The method involves providing an electrical sound signal (S1) for supplying to left ear of a user. An electrical sound signal (S2) is provided for supplying to right ear of the user. A left setting value for a left device (20) and a right setting value for a right device (21) are determined on the basis of the sound signals through a perceptive model for binaural hearing. The left device is set with the left setting value and the right device is set with the right setting value. An independent claim is also included for a hearing system comprising a left device that supplies an electrical sound signal for supplying to the left ear of a user and a right device that supplies an electrical sound signal for supplying to the right ear of the user.
