[origin: WO2007131367A1] A device for administering (100) a fluid product, in particular a medicament, at a controllable administration rate, is disclosed. The device comprises a housing (110) with a drive receptacle area for a drive unit (200) and a product receiving region to hold a product container (120). An arrangement (130, 133) for hydraulic power transmission, which does not contribute to controlling the administration rate, is located between them. The administration rate is controlled exclusively by the drive unit (200). The administration device can be manufactured economically as a disposable item and allows for simple replacement after use.
