[origin: WO2007140990A1] The present invention relates to a method for producing moulded bodies from ceramic and/or metallic powders, wherein the powders are mixed with an organic binder, comprising the steps of a) preparing a flowable homogeneous mixture of an organic binder and a ceramic or metallic powder at a temperature that lies above the melting temperature of the organic binder, b) introducing the flowable mixture prepared in step a) without pressure into a casting mould, c) allowing the flowable mixture to solidify without pressure in the mould. Furthermore, the present invention relates to moulded bodies produced by the method according to the invention and their use as an inoculating agent for the production of cast iron.
