Abstract (en)
[origin: WO2007131531A1] Heating device (5), in particular for a laundry dryer, with a gas burner (11) and a valve (25) with a gas nozzle, to which primary air can be ducted for the formation of flames, a tubular heating channel (16) which encloses the flame (18) to the inlet opening (15) of which secondary air can be ducted as combustion air and at the outlet opening (19) of which tertiary air can be mixed with the hot gases, the outlet opening (19) of said heating channel (16) opening into an air channel (3) for the process air. In order to design a gas-heated heating device for a heating operation which generates as low a level of harmful substances as possible, and which is as noise-free as possible, which can be built economically, and which can be installed in a laundry dryer with as little assembly effort as possible, a ring-shaped diaphragm (20) is located in the outlet opening (19) of the heating channel (16). In addition, a bracket (24) for the valve (25) and for the gas burner (11) is fastened in the lower area of the inlet opening of the heating channel (16) as an extension of the lower surface line and positions the gas burner (11) in the inlet opening (15) of the heating channel (16), the bracket (24) being configured with a fastening support (26), in particular for the mounting of the entire heating device (5) in a laundry dryer. In addition, a fixing plate (27) is located in the upper portion of the heating channel (16) as an extension of the upper surface line and secures the gas burner (11) in the vertical cross-sectional plane (34) of the heating channel.
