[origin: DE202006008668U1] The sheet metal profile has two arm sections (2) connected by a base section with curved supporting edges (4) extending in the longitudinal direction of the profile. The supporting edges are provided with reinforcement strips (5) which extend over the entire width (B) of same. The reinforcement strip and/or curved supporting edge can have plastics material deformations to fix the strip on the edge. The reinforcement strip can be a separate sheet metal strip or can be formed by a bent-back part of the arm.
