Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2007137316A1] The invention relates to a wooden floor (1), especially for exterior zones such as terraces or similar, comprising at least two spaced-apart floor boards (2) or panels, between which an air gap (3) is formed. The facing lateral surfaces (2a, 2b) of two adjacent floor boards (2) or panels are each provided with a groove (4a, 4b). The two grooves (4a, 4b) form a space (3) which tapers towards the surface (8) of the wooden floor (1) and has a dovetailed cross-section while an elongate, flexible sealing element (6) is inserted into said space (3). In order to keep the assembly effort as low as possible, the groove (4a, 4b) has a first curved section (7a) in the transition to the surface (8) of the wooden floor, the radius of curvature of said first curved section (7a) preferably being greater than 2 mm, the groove (4a, 4b) has a second curved section (7b) in the area where the space (3) is widest, the radius of curvature of said second curved section (7b) preferably being greater than 2 mm, and a flank (7e) which drops towards the lateral surface (2a, 2b) at a minimum angle (a) of 3°, preferably about 5°, relative to the surface (8) of the wooden floor (1) adjoins the second curved section (7b).
