Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2007135339A1] The invention relates to a device for the electronic control of at least one ultrasound piezoelectric injector driven by a control computer and powered with a DC voltage source, comprising: a first stage of amplifying said DC voltage delivering a high DC voltage signal; a second stage of generating an injector charge current, made up of an inductor connected to a chopping switch and forming an oscillating circuit with each driven injector; a third stage of selecting which injectors to drive, comprising a selection switch in series with each injector; characterized in that the selection third stage comprises, for each injector, a cell for damping the residual energy stored in each said injector at the end of injection command and causing alternating raised voltages at the terminals of said injector, the damping cell containing a resistor. Application to motor vehicles.
