[origin: WO2007141435A1] The invention relates to an internal combustion engine (1) comprising an exhaust gas recirculation circuit, the throughput of said circuit being regulated by main regulation means (13). The recirculation circuit passes through the cylinder head and comprises a main arm (16) and a cold arm (14) associated with a heat exchanger, and means (15) for regulating the throughput of the recirculated gas supplied to the cold arm. According to the invention, the part of the circuit passing through the cylinder head consists of a concentric double tube, the inner tube forming part of the main arm and the outer tube forming part of the cold arm.
