[origin: WO2007135048A1] The invention relates to an electric refrigerator comprising a vacuum-sealed system provided with at least one vacuum-sealed chamber (7) equipped with an air supply device (8) and an air discharge device (3). Said vacuum-sealed system also comprises at least one discharge line (3) which is connected to the vacuum-sealed chamber, a vacuum pump (1) connected to the discharge line, and an electric motor (2) for driving the vacuum pump. The inventive vacuum-sealed system further comprises a control device which controls the opening and closing of the discharge line (3) so that the system can be opened and closed selectively.
