Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2007135265A1] This eddy current imaging procedure consists of the following steps: - located (72) near a large inspection zone of a surface magnetic field measuring device, generating (74, 92) a comprehensive excitatory magnetic field on the observation inspection zone - Measure (76, 84) at the surface a resulting magnetic field in the form of images. - Process (90) the images. The generating phase (74, 82) consists of generating at least two forms of excitatory magnetic field waves; the measuring phase (76, 86) consists of measuring all the magnetic field configurations resulting in the form of images; the image combination treatments phase (90) helps to detect defects and to determine their location and their type.
