[origin: WO2007122020A1] Apparatus and method for sharing and/or making accessible the computational calculation power of electronic calculation and control means (14) with one or more remote electronic units (12a-12e), each of which sends to the electronic calculation and control means (14) numerical data, able to be processed by the electronic calculation and control means (14) in order to obtain corresponding processed numerical data, able to be sent selectively to the respective remote electronic unit (12a-12e). The electronic calculation and control means (14) comprises at least a central electronic unit (18) and one or more electronic calculation units (20a-20f ) controlled by the central electronic unit (18) and a data storage unit. Each of the remote electronic units (12a-12e) is able to request from the central electronic unit (18) at least a specific quantity of computational calculation power in order to perform specific types of computational calculation on the numerical data.
