[origin: WO2007137573A1] The invention relates to a radio transmitter (1, 4) comprising at least one signal generator (SGEN1) for producing a continuous signal (sFMTx (t) ) and an antenna (ANT1) for emitting a transmitted signal (sTx(t)). At least one outlet of the signal generator (SGEN1) is connected to at least one inlet of the antenna (ANT1). The signal generator (SGEN1) is connected to the antenna (ANT1) by means of an interconnected interrupter unit (SW1) for selectively interrupting and maintaining a signal connection between the signal generator (SGEN1) and the antenna (ANT1).
