[origin: WO2007135300A1] The invention concerns a remote transmission system, comprising a base station device and a remote device. The base station device (11) comprises at least one main camera (12) equipped with zoom adjusting means (13) and azimuth or viewing adjusting means (16); one auxiliary camera (18) equipped with zoom adjusting means (19) and azimuth or viewing adjusting means (22); and main viewing means (25) comprising at least one main means for viewing images derived from said main camera (12). The remote device comprises secondary viewing means including at least one main means for viewing images derived from said main camera (12) and at least one auxiliary means for viewing images derived from said auxiliary camera; azimuth selecting means for selectively choosing one point or region on the images displayed on the main viewing means and the auxiliary viewing means; and zoom selecting means for introducing a value selection of the auxiliary camera. The system further comprises control means for modifying the azimuth adjustment and control means for modifying the zoom adjustment.
