The machine has a transport system (1) with a set of drive brackets (2) for clamping sheet stacks and book blocks (B). The brackets are arranged at a distance from one another and are guided into a guiding web (4) using a cam roller, where the guiding web is supported in a machine frame. One of the brackets comprises a lubrication device for lubricating the guiding web. A lubricating unit has a storage container for each bearing surface of the guiding web, where the storage container is filled with a lubricant.

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Buchbindemaschine mit einem Buchblocktransportsystem (1) und einer Vielzahl von Klammern (2) zum Einspannen von Blattstapeln, wobei die Klammern (2) in einem Abstand zueinander angeordnet und in Führungsbahnen (4) eines Maschinengestells geführt sind. Das Buchblocktransportsystem besitzt eine Klammer, eine sogenannte Schmierklammer, mit einer Vorrichtung (30) zum Schmieren der Führungsbahn. Dabei ist jeder Laufrolle (20) der Klammer ein Auftragselement (33) zugeordnet und der Schmierstoff wird mittels je eines Auftragselements (33), beispielsweise eines Pinsels, auf die Laufrollen (20) und von den Laufrollen (20) auf die Laufflächen der Führungsbahn (4) übertragen.
