[origin: EP2025816A1] The method involves producing a peripherally closed steel frame, which is composed of steel profiles with side parts (15, 16), an upper part and a lower part. The frame with side surfaces (27) of the profiles is placed on a horizontal supporting surface, where thickness of the frame between the surfaces corresponds to desired thickness of a wall element. A compartment (21) peripherally enclosed by the frame is filled with concrete e.g. self-compacting concrete, and the produced steel-concrete wall element is lifted from the supporting surface after hardening and partial curing of the concrete. An independent claim is also included for a wall element comprising a steel frame.
