Abstract (en)

The siphon (2) has an S-shaped pipe formed from a number of pipe pieces (4, 6). The pipe piece (4) exhibits a u-shaped form with bushes (10) and sealing elements (12, 38). A guiding sleeve (30) with a float-sealing element (32) is attached in a bend (28) of the U-shaped pipe piece (4) in a manner such that the float-sealing element hermetically closes the U-shaped pipe with a low liquid level in the pipe piece (4) together with the liquid or with lack of liquid. The float-sealing element has a rounding (52) at a lower end area (46) on a side (50) turned to an inlet (48).

Abstract (de)

Ein Siphon (2) für sanitäre Einrichtungen, der ein aus einer Anzahl von Rohrstücken (4, 6), Muffen (10, 10') und Dichtelementen (12, 38) gebildetes S-förmiges Rohr umfasst, bei dem zumindest eines der Rohrstücke (4) eine U-förmige Form aufweist, soll bei teilweise oder ganz fehlender Sperrflüssigkeit (58) geruchsdicht und/oder keimdicht verschließen. Dazu ist in der Biegung (28) des U-förmigen Rohrstücks (4) eine Führungshülse (30) mit einem Schwimmer-Dichtelement (32) derart angebracht, dass das Schwimmer-Dichtelement (32) das U-förmige Rohrstück (4) bei zu niedrigem Flüssigkeitsstand im Rohrstück (4, 6) mit der Flüssigkeit zusammen oder bei fehlender Flüssigkeit dieses alleine luftdicht verschließt.
