[origin: EP2026595A1] The loudspeaker has a tweeter unit and a woofer/midrange unit provided with a cone diaphragm (5) suspended in a loudspeaker basket. An electromagnetic drive (8) is fixedly attached to the loudspeaker basket, and the tweeter unit is attached to a base. The electromagnetic drive is provided within a space bordering a convex curved exterior of the cone diaphragm, where the tweeter unit is positioned outside of the space. The loudspeaker basket is a die cast part made of aluminum alloy. An internal flat ring section is connected with a supporting ring.
