Abstract (en)
[origin: FR2901979A1] The device has an end fitting (12) with an upper part (13) comprising two housings (14, 16) for receiving ends of slats. The end fitting has a lower part (18) and an intermediary part (20) that includes a suspension element constituted by sleeves (22, 24) connecting the parts (13, 18). The part (18) has a support plate (26) carrying an anchoring stud (28) formed of material having rigidity higher than the material of the plate. The stud extends perpendicularly with respect to the plate while traversing the plate, where the end fitting and the stud are formed as single part by molding. An independent claim is also included for a method for fabricating a slat of a mattress support.
