[origin: WO2007141164A2] The subject matter of the present application is an application device (1) for using an application liquid on keratin fibers with at least one container (2) for holding the application liquid, having an application head (3), which is joined to the at least one container (2) and has a porous application element (31) for applying the application liquid by coating over the fibers, the application liquid containing at least one pre-stage of a quasi-natural dye. With the aid of the application device according to the invention it is now possible to color regions of grey hair in a targeted way, in particular on the temples, around the eyes and the parting, wherein the result of the coloring is built up gradually, gives a natural effect and lasts longer.
