[origin: WO2007128939A2] The invention concerns a composition for topical application on the skin comprising, in a physiological acceptable medium, at least one saccharide compound which augments the expression of mechanoreceptors in skin cells and at least one tensor agent. The invention also concerns a skin care health kit comprising (a) a composition comprising at least one tensor agent and (b) a composition comprising at least one saccharide compound which increases the expression of mechanoreceptors in skin cells. The invention also concerns a kit comprising (a) a composition comprising at least one saccharide compound which augments the expression of mechanoreceptors in skin cells and (b) a tensor device designed to apply and/or maintain in a controlled manner mechanical constraints on the skin. The invention also concerns a process for cosmetic treatment of the skin comprising the simultaneous or sequential application of said compositions and/or tensor devices.
