Abstract (en)

[origin: FR2902435A1] Composition comprises transparent homo-/copolyamide (I) at 60-99 wt.% and/or an amide-ether based copolymer at 1-40 wt.%. (I) is amorphous or has a crystalline form with an enthalpy of fusion during the second heat of a differential scanning calorimeter of an International Organization for Standardization is 30 J/g. (I) has a glass transition temperature (T g) of 75[deg]C. (I) comprises cycloaliphatic and/or aromatic units. Independent claims are included for: (1) a process of preparing the composition comprising optionally mixing the amide-ether based polymer with additives in an extruder to form a composition in pellet form, and mixing the obtained mixture with (I); and (2) a shaped article, preferably transparent or translucent article like a fiber, tissue, film, sheet, rod, tube or injected part made up of the composition.
