[origin: WO2007141452A2] The invention relates to a doorframe for renovation, said doorframe being used to cover an existing doorframe and especially consisting of a plastic material and comprising vertical struts and horizontal cross members forming a fixed frame. The invention is characterised in that the inventive doorframe comprises a thin profiled element provided with at least two secant ribs, a first rib being used to at least partially cover the complementary architrave of the fixed frame, a second rib being used to at least partially cover the central dressing of the fixed frame.
