[origin: WO2007140491A1] The invention relates to a storage container for solid fuels (20) for connecting to a combustion furnace (40), comprising a unit for conveying the fuels (17) to the furnace (40). According to the invention, provision is made for the conveying unit to comprise a flexible, pliable conveying loop (1) onto which the fuels (17) can be placed during operation, wherein the conveying loop (1), when loaded with the fuels (17), forms a sagging shape roughly sack-shaped in cross section, and wherein drive or traction means are provided, with which the conveying loop (1) can be brought reversibly into a tightened state in which the length of the conveying loop (1) is shortened and its sagging is reduced, as a result of which the fuels (17) placed therein can be brought out at the top.
