[origin: WO2007140747A1] A telescope eyepiece (1) is described which has an exit pupil at a great distance for imaging an image plane (9) or a reticle to infinity and comprises a field stop (3), arranged on the light entry side (2), and two lens groups, separated by air in the light direction, as a main eyepiece (11), wherein the first one comprises two cemented lenses (L1, L2) and has a positive refractive power and the second one comprises a simple converging lens (L3), and arranged in the vicinity of the image plane (9) or the reticle in the light direction downstream of the field stop (3) is a lens of negative refractive power (6).
