Abstract (en)
The opener (1) has a cutting tool (3) comprising a circular cutter (5) pressed on a tin cap of a tin (4). The tin is mounted on a mounting device (2) so that the cutter is pressed on a surface of the tin cap for cutting the cap along a parting line. The mounting device is arranged to mount the tin along a part of a fold of the tin cap, and includes openings for accommodating the tin. The cutter has cutting points so that regions of the tin cap are cut by the cutting points during pressing of the cutter on the tin cap. An independent claim is also included for a method for opening a tin.

Die Erfindung betrifft einen Dosenöffner (1) zum Öffnen von Dosen (4) mit einem Dosendeckel. Die Dose (4) ist auf einer Lagerungsvorrichtung (2) derart lagerbar, dass ein Durchtrennwerkzeug (3) auf einer Oberfläche des Dosendeckels anpressbar ist und der Dosendeckel mittels des Durchtrennwerkzeugs (3) entlang einer Trennlinie durchtrennbar ist.
