Abstract (en)
A vehicle headlamp is provided. The vehicle headlamp includes at least one light source module (11) comprising a substrate (23) and a light emitting diode (19) mounted on the substrate; a shade (20) for shielding a part of light emitted from a light emitting surface (22a) of the light emitting diode; a projection lens (21) through which the light passes, wherein a focal point of the projection lens is located on or near the light emitting surface (22a); and a shade driving unit (28) configured to move the shade (20) to a light shielding position in which the part of the light emitted from the light emitting surface is shielded, and to an open position in which the light emitted from the light emitting surface is unshielded.
