Abstract (en)
The device has a portable housing with a transparent covering (1) and a housing rear wall (3). A lighting unit is attached to the housing. An external network-bonded power supply is connected to the lighting unit using a connection cable. The lighting unit comprises a set of LEDs (5), which are connected and operated in a set of independent electric circuits in such a manner that the power consumption in each of the electric circuits is smaller than 5 Watts. The housing is sealed with a sealing element (14). The housing exhibits an edge protection that comprises a massive rubber element.

Die Erfindung betrifft eine explosionsgeschützte Beleuchtungsvorrichtung, geeignet für den Gebrauch in explosionsgefährdeten Bereichen, umfassend ein Gehäuse mit einer transparenten Abdeckung (1) und einer Gehäuserückwand (3), eine Beleuchtungseinheit, die im Gehäuse untergebracht ist, eine externe, netzgebundene Stromversorgungseinrichtung, an der die Beleuchtungseinheit mittels eines Anschlusskabels angeschlossen ist, wobei die Beleuchtungseinheit eine Mehrzahl von Leuchtdioden (5) umfasst, die in mehreren unabhängigen Stromkreisen derart geschaltet und betreibbar sind, dass die Leistungsaufnahme in jedem der Stromkreise kleiner als fünf Watt ist, und dass das Gehäuse mit mindestens einem Dichtungselement (14) abgedichtet ist.
