Abstract (en)

[origin: EP2028464A1] The method involves dividing the walls (2) of a combustion chamber (1) in n-segments and a thermal image of the combustion chamber is provided. A middle surface temperature is determined for each of the segments on the basis of the thermal image. An inclined heat flow and an utilizable heat flow are determined for each of the segments and for each of the segments as function of the inclined heat flow. A middle pipe wall temperature of the utilizable heat flow and the middle surface temperature are determined through the period of the pipes of the segment.
