[origin: EP2028879A2] The method involves adjusting a transformation database, and adjusting a source hearing aid, where characteristics of the source aid are adjusted to a target hearing aid (4). An adjustment that leads audible transformation database to the characteristics corresponding to the characteristics of the identified source aid is recalled. The recalled adjustment is adjusted to the target aid. The adjustment of hearing aids of different types is stored in the database to allow one hearing aid to lend the characteristics of the other hearing aid with identified adjustment.
