[origin: CA2654211A1] The present invention relates to a planar-shaped drug preparation that qu ickly dissolves or decomposes in an aqueous environment, for the application of active ingredient combinations for the treatment of hypertension, wherei n the drug preparations contain at least two active ingredients that are sui table for the treatment of hypertension, and wherein the antihypertensive dr ug is selected from the group that encompasses beta receptor blockers, alpha receptor blockers, calcium antagonists, ACE inhibitors, AT1 antagonists, ce ntrally acting antihypertensive drugs, direct vasodilators, and diuretics. T he present invention also relates to the use of active ingredient combinatio ns according to the invention for the production of an oral drug preparation for the treatment of high blood pressure, to a method for the therapeutic t reatment of hypertension, and to a method for the production of a planar-sha ped drug preparation.
