[origin: WO2007143874A1] For the creation of horizontal storage bins (A, B) in a vehicle cargo bay (1), the device contains a height-adjustable storage floor (7) that contains lateral guide means (9, 9') guided in rails (8, 8') that are arranged on the vehicle wall (5). In order to ensure user friendly manipulation, the bilaterally arranged guide means (9, 9') are coupled with the help of a synchronization device (13). This synchronization device (13) preferably contains a cable pull device (11) with opposite drive cable pulls (12, 12'), or a concertina grill device (18) with coupled concertina arms (19, 19'). It is understood that this synchronization device (13) is positioned predominantly coplanar to the level spanned by the rails (8, 8').
