[origin: WO2007135289A2] The invention relates to an electronic remote control device (1) comprising a wireless hertzian signal transmitter (9) which is used to transmit a first type of hertzian signal (SI) indicating the movement of objects detected by a light signal receiver and variations in the levels of electrical resistance between the terminals of first and second electrical control means (6a, 6b). The inventive device (1) also comprises a electronic control mechanism for changing the state of the device (11), said mechanism being designed to selectively instruct the wireless signal transmitter (9) to transmit a second type of hertzian signal (SN) which does not indicate the movement of objects but does indicate variations in the levels of electrical resistance of the first and second electrical control means (6a, 6b), said level of resistance depending on a pressure applied to the control means.
