[origin: WO2007140773A2] The invention is related to a method of collecting information of an infrastructure so as to obtain a picture of changes in the infrastructure. The method is characterised by providing a data model of the infrastructure, said data model consisting of tables of a relation data base, the information being retrieved automatically through a telnet or an SSH protocol. By correlating the information collected, a person skilled in the art can obtain an accurate picture of the interconnections of the infrastructure for diagnosing purposes.
