Abstract (en)
The bed has a main barrier element associated with a deformable parallelogram mechanism hinged to a frame (12) of the bed or to an analogous structure. Two parallel arms provide a hinge (21a) to the frame and a hinge (21b) to the main barrier element. A hinge deployment bar (26) is hinged between the arms. The mechanism is associated with a bottom extender (34) attached to the deployment bar by a sliding connection with hinge pins (50a, 50b). The extender slides along vertical guide units carried by the main barrier elements. The pins are engaged in respective slots of the extender.

Lit à barrière latérale mobile comportant un élément de barrière principal et un prolongateur inférieur. Selon l'invention, l'élément de barrière principal (18) est associé à un mécanisme à parallélogramme déformable articulé à un cadre (12) du lit, ledit mécanisme comporte une barre de déploiement (26) articulée entre deux bras parallèles (20a, 20b) et le prolongateur inférieur est rattaché à la barre de déploiement par une liaison à coulissement horizontal (36a, 38a - 36b, 38b) et est assujetti à coulisser le long de moyens de guidage vertical portés par l'élément de barrière principal (18).
