[origin: FR2914164A1] The device (1) has a lath or a blade type elongated body (2) delimiting a mattress support surface (10), and a rigid crosspiece (3). Elastically deformable elements (4, 4a) are interposed between the crosspiece and the body, where the elements are distributed on an entire length of the body and support the body in place. The elements are arranged at respective ends of a mattress, where the elements include greater hardness to rigidify support bodies of the mattress at ends.
